Pregnancy Books I Loved!

During pregnancy, I stumbled upon some books that have been so helpful! Pregnancy and labor were two things I knew NOTHING about - so thank goodness for these books and for sisters.

While I may not align with every viewpoint in these books, I've grown in my understanding of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, and they have helped lessen some of my fears!

I'm excited to share these resources with you, as they've been instrumental in my journey - hopefully, they help you, too!

Happy Reading!

Pregnancy

  • Expecting Better - This debunks a lot of pregnancy myths. This was the first book I read, and it helped alleviate some of my worries - especially because after you find out you're pregnant, you have to wait weeks for your first doctor’s appointment!!

  • What To Expect When You’re Expecting - Helpful week-by-week breakdown. Truthfully didn’t get through the whole thing - it is a lot of information. But also, as you can tell, I have been reading a lot of books.

  • We’re Pregnant - Great book for your partner! My husband keeps his at work and reads that week’s update every Friday!

  • The Mama Natural Week-By-Week Guide - Very educational and gave lots of good ideas for natural remedies and ideas. This book gave me a lot of peace of things.

Postpartum

Parenting

  • Bringing up Bébé - A French parenting book that I found funny and very helpful! This is a great read that gets you excited to meet your baby! I feel like every week I would tell my husband funny stories from this book. I would recommend everyone reads this little book to help get you thinking about how you want to parent.
